SPORTS IN LUNCH BREAK

14/02/2018

Lots of people have acquired the habit of practising sports during their lunch breaks, and it is in fact a great way to keep fit, reduce stress and free up the evening to spend on other activities.

  • RUNNING: running in the fresh air, even for just half an hour, can be very beneficial for both body and mind. It’s cheap, liberating, refreshing and really effective for short training periods – the perfect fit for lunch breaks!
  • SWIMMING/WATER EXERCISES: if there’s a swimming pool in your neighbourhood then this is your chance! Just half an hour’s swim makes you feel as good as new, toning the whole body and burning excess fat. Just as useful are water gym and water bike sessions to music, combining the effectiveness of physical exercise with the pleasure of dance music.
  • A DANCE CLASS: whichever class you choose, the important thing is that the music has a strong rhythm that really gets you moving! The result: you lose weight, tone up and say goodbye to stress, all to the rhythm of great music.
  • PILATES/YOGA: A moment just for you dedicated to muscle stretching and relaxation. Designed to train the whole body and give you a feeling of well-being in under an hour – perfect if you need stretching exercises.

BUT BE CAREFUL: DON’T GET GOING ON AN EMPTY STOMACH!

It’s always best to take in a little food before physical exercise, but staying light. For example you can eat a banana beforehand and then have a light snack towards the end of your lunch break.
