Dryarn at the Trail des Merveilles

On Sunday 6 March, 2016, Dryarn will be sponsoring a major sports event taking place between France and Italy, the Tour Des Merveilles. There are two routes, one of 17 km 800 m – more accessible to everyone, and one of 26 km 600 m – more technical and demanding. The routes pass through large olive groves to the hilltop village of Piene-Haute, before crossing the border to reach the beautiful Italian village of Olivetta. Turning back into France, the route continues deep into shrub land to the Cime du Bosc (1,124m). From here there is a wonderful 360 degree view of the Mediterranean Sea, Corsica and the snow-covered peaks of the Mercantour National Park, which includes the famous Mont Bégo and the Vallée des Merveilles with its celebrated rock engravings. The final single-track descent through coniferous woods leads to the lake at Breil and some well-deserved refreshment. Are you ready?
