Breathability, thermo-regulation, quick-drying properties and resistance to rubbing. These are the main features of Dryarn, a fibre that has emerged as a valuable ally in the construction of mountain bike garments, also in view of the fact that it’s dermatologically tested and therefore ideal for wearing next to the skin.

Oxyburn 5235 Tour shorts are made in Dryarn, with this garment designed to provide high breathability and a degree of thermal insulation that makes it ideal even in extreme climatic conditions.

Dryarn, due to its hollow internal structure, wicks sweat from the skin to the exterior where it can evaporate more quickly; it keeps the body thermo-regulated and dry for longer at any intensity of exercise and in any climatic conditions (in extremes of heat or cold); it maintains the ideal body temperature and reduces heart-rate and muscle fatigue during exercise, enabling a more intensive performance for longer.

Dryarn doesn’t absorb moisture, totally for the benefit of  physical comfort, and ensures a feeling of comfort on the skin. A high resistance to abrasion, dimensional stability, the prevention of bad odour build-up, quick-drying properties and easy maintenance are all advantages provided by this garment.

Due to its specific gravity (the lowest of all synthetic and natural fibres), Dryarn enables the creation of extremely lightweight garments while maintaining a high level of thermal insulation: this means that less garments can be worn, benefiting both performance and comfort.

The muscular support given by the 5235 Tour, as well as its self-adaptive fit and anti-cramp massaging action, are noticed immediately; level 2 compression over the entire thigh area also gives a sensation of total control and excellent reactivity.
