COLNAGO CYCLING FESTIVAL 2020: MANY EMOTIONS IN SAFETY

 

On 2, 3 and 4 October, the 8^th edition of the Colnago Cycling Festival was held on the lakeside in Desenzano del Garda.

This weekend celebrating the biking world, dedicated to sport and passion, was attended not only by sportspeople but also by families, the simply curious and the entire region.

Long-distance cyclists rode two routes: a medium 110-km route with total climb of 1384m and a long 145-km route with 2100m of climb. The latter route took the cyclists past three lakes: Garda, Valvestino and Idro. It offered breathtaking views, unmissable climbs and the opportunity to enjoy local hospitality with lavish refreshments, including typical delicacies served by smiling volunteers.

Like every year, the Saturday was dedicated to “baby bikers”, who amazed parents and passers-by with their mountain bikes and, for the first time, road bikes, delighting in tests of ability worthy of the best cyclists.
