New Saddle Pads and Blankets in Dryarn® Yarn Unveiled
Once again, Dryarn® confirms its dedication to innovation in sportswear and equipment, this time serving high-level equestrianism. A collaboration with Regintex, an Italian textile technology company specializing in advanced products for horse well-being, has officially begun.
At the American Horse Show in Cremona (May 23-25, 2025), Regintex debuted its saddle pads and blankets made with Dryarn®. These products are the result of years of research aimed at improving the comfort, performance, and health of horses during training and competitions.
Dryarn®, the world’s lightest microfiber, proves to be the ideal yarn for the equestrian world due to its extraordinary breathability and thermoregulating properties. Suitable for direct contact with the skin, it allows for optimal moisture management, keeping the horse’s skin dry and protected in both summer and winter. The yarn’s natural bacteriostatic capability also reduces the risk of redness and irritation, while its elasticity and lightness ensure a perfect fit to the animal’s body, reducing pressure points and enhancing freedom of movement.
The new Regintex saddle pads and blankets are characterized by their highly artisanal and technological craftsmanship. The fabric produced by Regintex features unique weaves and air-chamber padding, sewn with hidden stitches to prevent friction. These elastic and padded structures offer true comfort for the horse’s skin and muscles, helping to reduce or even eliminate irritations, sores, and rubbing-induced infections. Moreover, the fabric’s special quilting absorbs and reduces impact from the rider on the animal.
The next opportunity to experience this new line, a result of the collaboration between Dryarn® and Regintex, will be the Reining World Championship, scheduled for July 7-12, 2025, in Geneva. Regintex will be an official sponsor for Italy at this event, providing its products to 40 riders competing in the Western riding discipline.
Following the successful presentation of the saddle pads and blankets, a new line of rider apparel is already in the testing phase. This includes 100% Dryarn® socks, designed to ensure maximum breathability, lightness, and comfort even for riders who spend many hours a day in the saddle.
This new venture confirms Dryarn® as an exceptional partner for sport and animal well-being, elevating the performance of technical materials to the highest levels across all disciplines.
