DRYARN CLIMBING AMBASSADOR 2015

Climbing is a wonderful sport that treats those who practise it to some really magical moments. And nobody better than we who were born in these mountains can understand the words of John Ellison, “Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but rather by the moments that take our breath away.”

Dryarn is a fibre created to support sportsmen and women while they train or compete, offering them the utmost comfort that technology can ensure. And we have made this desire to support sportsmen and women at all times our mission. We have supported athletes in the Himalayas and in the desert, on the roads of the Tour de France and on the rocks of our Arco.
This is why we are honoured that the Dryarn Climbing Ambassador 2015 award is going to someone who has made a mark in the history of world climbing: John Ellison, the founder of the Climbers against Cancer initiative. There are many reasons for this but the main one is that we share the courage of his adventure.

John is a symbol of the courage and power that a message sent to people through sport can have and of the desire for community and solidarity that are established by those who love sport. So we really want to thank him.
